Saints Row: Guide's content
Our Saints Row guide begins with the description of the basics and the most important game mechanics. We have created pages that describe, among others, combat, unlocking the best skills and perks, using vehicles and garage, or calling allies for support. In the first chapter, you will also find starting tips that you should read before starting the game.
The second chapter of our guide is a FAQ - a collection of answers to all the important questions that you may have while playing Saints Row. There, you will find a lot of information that will make your experience more convenient. You can find out, among others, how to lose a police chase, how to save vehicles in the garage, how to get cash and XP, how to get a monster truck and a tank, how to use fast travel, how to heal yourself, or how to change the current time of day.
The next chapter is the most important in the entire guide - it's the Saints Row walkthrough. We have thoroughly described all the story missions, so you will be able to complete every mission available in the game without any problems. Learn what you have to do, how to unlock quests and what rewards you get for them. The walkthroughs for each mission include descriptions of boss fights and puzzle solutions.
Several separate chapters of the guide are related to optional activities on the world map, as well as collecting secrets and collectibles. First of all, you will learn about ventures - how to unlock each business, how to develop it and what profits you can get. In the guide, we inform about the locations of collectibles, as well as side quests and challenges from individual city districts. Doing all additional activities will bring you closer to completing the game in 100%.
The last part of the guide is an appendix, in which you will find, among others, a trophy guide with tips on how to get the platinum trophy, accessibility settings, game editions, PC system requirements, controls, and information on the game's length.
Saints Row: Quick beginner's guide
- The hero's smartphone gives you access to all important actions and menu windows. Thanks to it you can, e.g. start story missions, check the world map, set new active skills and perks, call allies for help, or load the character creator. It is worth learning how to use all applications efficiently.
- Thanks to takedowns, you can regenerate health. This is important, because by default, health cannot regenerate itself during combat. Run towards the enemies to perform takedowns and pay attention to their cooldown.
- Save as many vehicles as possible in your garage, especially those that can be very useful (e.g. police cars, monster trucks, cars with good performance). You can steal them when they are standing on streets or steal from NPCs. After delivering the vehicle to the garage, it will remain available - you can take it out as many times as you like.
- Choose good active skills and perks. You can gain skills by leveling up. At the moment you can have 4 different ones ready (it is worth to have various skills). Perks are obtained for completing challenges. They are passive and you must purchase slots to place them.
- Watch out for enemies with yellow shield bars. You must first deprive them of armor by using the heaviest weapons. Only then you can start depleting their health bar (and there may also be an option to perform a takedown on a weakened elite opponent).
- You can detonate selected objects using Quickshots. Quickshot icons may appear, among others, on explosive barrels. A single press of the button allows you to make them explode immediately - it is faster than shooting in a regular way.
- Unlock and develop ventures. Each friendly business guarantees hourly income. In addition, by completing small tasks related to ventures, you can earn unique rewards, including vehicles or clothes.
- It is a good idea to call allies regularly and fight with them together. After making enough progress in the game, you will unlock the mechanic of using the phone to call for support. Fighting in a group may increase your chances of survival, although remember to resurrect your companions if they get knocked down.
For more tips and hints, as well as more detailed versions of the above tips, please go to a separate page: Beginner's guide.

More About Saints Row
We Cried As We Played. The Biggest Craps of 2022
There's so much hype surrounding releasing games that it can sometimes be easy to forget that some games are... simply bad. Mildly put. Here, we list the worst and most disappointing games of 2022.
New Video Games Releasing in August 2022 - Upcoming Games for Summertime!
August is a month that usually goes below the charts. The dog days may be in full swing, but by some miracle, there's room for some really interesting releases. So, no one should complain about nothing to play during the summer break!
Can't Wait For GTA 6 - So Give Me Saints Row Already!
The new Saints Row makes a big departure from the rest of the series in terms of temper. And for me, that's great, because I'll be happy to play an open-world, gangster story that's a little more out there, but not gross. Also, GTA 6 won't come soon, too.
