Zelda TotK: All Shrines in Hyrule Field Zelda Tears of the Kingdom guide, tips

There are several rather difficult Shrines in Hyrule Field. In our map and guide to Zelda TotK you will find useful tips on how to solve them.

Hyrule Field is one of the first regions in the game - you will get there very quickly. On our guide page for Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you will find out how to solve puzzles in Shrines such as Teniten Shrine or Tajikats Shrine.

Tajikats Shrine

  1. Use Ultrahand to place the log vertically. Then climb it.

  1. The next step is to join two logs together and place them vertically to cover the hole. Climb it and continue on.
  2. Then you have to connect the logs together again and place them on the water. Jump on them and move on.

  1. The next step is to build a structure from several logs so that it can be placed on the water. Use it to climb up to the higher floor. To do this, put two logs on the ground and join them, then place one of them vertically to make a "makeshift ladder". If the structure is tilting, support it with the previous two logs by placing them on the side.
  2. The last stage is to build a raft. Connect several logs (preferably four) together, place two fans at their ends and throw the finished vehicle into the water. Hit the fans to get to the other side.
  3. There is a chest on the left side. When you reach the other end of the shore, set up the raft towards it using Ultrahand to get there. In the chest you will find a Spiky Shield.

Teniten Shrine

  1. Defeat the Zonai robot using the throwing weapon found on the left side. Hold the R button and release it when you're sure you'll hit the enemy.

  1. When you succeed, the robot will start moving left and right and stop for a moment when it reaches either of the edges. Throw the weapon to finally defeat him. This will open the gate behind which there is a chest with a Zonaite Spear.

Kamizun Shrine

  1. The challenge of this Shrine involves defeating all enemies using only the equipment found in front of the arena.

  1. Equip a weapon and a shield, then use Fuse to reinforce your sword. Bows can be used to hit robots' eyes - this attack deals more damage than melee strikes.

  1. Weapons can break easily, so pick up another one when needed.
  2. At the end of the corridor, there is a wooden stick and a spiked ball. Fuse these two objects to receive a weapon that deals a lot of damage.

  1. After defeating all Constructs, the gate will open. Get through it and open the chest. There is a Spring Shield inside.

Riogok Shrine

  1. Once inside the Shrine, use Ultrahand to pick up a log and place it as shown in the screenshot.
  2. Hit the mechanism located to the right of the cogwheel.
  3. Go to the other side and use Ultrahand to connect the log to the mechanism shown in the screenshot. It has to rotate left.
  4. There is another log behind the opened gate. Lift it up with Ultrahand. Above, on the left side, there is a chest. Attach it to the log to drop it down. Inside you'll find a Mighty Construct Bow.

  1. Hit the mechanism located to the right of the cogwheel.

  1. Now use Ascend at the stone blocks to get to the top. Take the log with you as well, as it is required in the upstairs area to connect and climb using it.

Tsutsu-Um Shrine

  1. At the beginning, connect the square platform to the spike on the left. Next, nail another platform with a spike into the structure that moves up and down.
  2. Finally, use Ultrahand to place one of the spikes on the mechanism that rotates around its own axis. Thanks to this, it will move the sphere so it lands in the funnel, which will open the exit gate.

  1. Jump to the other side and use Ultrahand to change the position of one of the platforms. Place it on the other side. This will give you access to the chest. Inside, you'll find 5x Arrows.
  2. Now approach the gust, jump and glide to reach the other side.
  3. The sphere will begin to make its way from the highest floor. Now you have to adjust the position of one of the spikes so the sphere stops and falls onto the rocking bench.
  4. Thanks to the spikes, the ball should stop (as shown in the screenshot). Then, with Ultrahand, you need to remove the upper spike so the ball falls down.

  1. Finally, use Ultrahand to place one of the spikes on the mechanism that rotates around its own axis. Thanks to this, it will move the sphere so it lands in the funnel, which will open the exit gate.

  1. Jump to the other side and head to the exit.
