AC Odyssey: Important choices in Chapter 2 Assassin's Creed Odyssey Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: Friday, May 29, 2020
This page describes all important choices made throughout the second chapter in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. Besides the regular choices, this chapter also forces you to make a decision that will determine the ending and certain future events.
A Journey to War
You learn that a mercenary called Hyrkanos is on the Athenians side. Eliminate him before you do The Final Push quest. Otherwise, he will participate in the battle.
Portion Control
This choice is heavily ethical. You have to decide whether you want to kill defenseless villagers or let them go.
The Missing Map
Decide what you want to do with the rescued spy. If you accept his offer, you will get the tablet and extra 100 Drachmae.
The Wolf of Sparta - Nikolaos' fate
One of the most important choices in the entire game. You can choose one of the two options:
- Get revenge - You kill Nikolaos. This choice comes with multiple consequences. First, you won't meet him later in the game and you won't be able to complete a few quests. Second, his foster son, Stentor, will arrive shortly afterwards. He wants to fight with you. Kill him to continue the game. Your choice determines the game's ending - those who are dead won't appear at the end of your adventure. Select this option if you want to get "the worst" ending.
- Speak with the man - Your character won't get revenge. Nikolaos survives and you will be able to meet him later in the game. This also unlocks a few additional quests and gives you a chance to get the "good" ending.
