The apartment (otherwise known as V's apartment) is a crucial element of the game in Cyberpunk 2077. When will I gain access to the apartment?
You will get full access to the apartment after completing the first mission of the main storyline - that is, the first job after completing the prologue. Namely, it is the main job The Rescue. The end of the task requires lying down in bed - after that you will gain access to the apartment.
Where is the apartment?
V's apartment is located in the Little China sub-district. You should not have any problems returning back to the apartment. Theapartment is marked on the map with a white house icon, and there is a fast travel point located next to it.
What is the apartment for?
The apartment in Cyberpunk 2077 is primarily used as a storage stash. In the apartment you will find a weapon stash where you can store weapons that you cannot use at a given time (e.g. due to level limitations).
Of course, you will also find a bed in the apartment. This will allow you to quickly change the time of day. Changing the time is necessary for some missions, but remember that you can also skip time through the menu screen.
Another useful object is the mirror located in the bathroom. This will allow you to view your character's appearance, e.g. after changing your armor.
You can also interact with the computer, which allows you to browse the Internet and read e-mails.
It is also worthwhile to take a look around the apartment and pick up certain objects - there are some food and healing items to be found here.
It's worth noting that in Cyberpunk 2077 you can get a pet cat that will live in your apartment. You can't interact with him or improve his sleeping area, but this is an interesting way to spice up your apartment.

Can I change my apartment?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your apartment in the game. You won't find new apartments to buy in any other location. It is worth mentioning that, as you progress through the story and complete jobs, new apartment icons will appear on your map.
However, these are not your apartments, but the homes of some of the characters you have met while completing jobs. For example, after finishing Panama's storyline, her tent will become marked on the map.
