Last update: Wednesday, May 25, 2016

Weapons are essential tools to survive in GTA Online world. There are 25 types of weapons in the game as well as weapon attachments.

Weapon types:

  • Handguns
  • Sub Machine Guns
  • Assault Rifles
  • Sniper Rifles
  • Shotguns
  • Heavy weapons
  • Explosives
  • Melee weapons

Weapon attachments (depend on the weapon type)

  • Extended magazine (increased maximum number of bullets in a fully loaded weapon)
  • Flashlight (helps to spot enemies in dark rooms, however, avoid using it if you want to stay hidden)
  • Silencer (extremely useful for handguns, SMGs and sniper rifles; reduces shooting noise and helps to keep a low profile; especially useful in Deathmatch)
  • Scope (increases weapon accuracy)
  • Extended scope (increases accuracy of sniper rifles)
  • Grip (reduces weapon recoil, thus improving accuracy)
  • Camos (e.g. black, military, police, or pink)
