How to search the garden at the Stenwick Manor?
After you finish your investigation at the bookstore and talk to Watson, you get a new lead. Go in the direction Watson indicates until you reach the gate. Enter the property and approach the police officer and Captain Stenwick. During the conversation, use all dialogue options.
Go to the left and follow the path until you reach the back of the property. Walk up to the monument and examine it:
- tobacco traces,
- shoe print,
- Enable the concentration mode and examine the knee print.
At the monument you will find 1 scene from the imagination mode. However, you won't have access to all potential scenes; you must first find the remaining evidence in the investigation.
Walking towards the shed, you will find wheel tracks. Enter concentration mode and investigate the trail.
How to find clues in Kimihii's shed?
Enter the shed and look on the floor. There, you will examine:
- piece of cloth,
- damaged wooden boxes.
Walk up to the bag of grain and examine it:
- face print in the grain,
- a small spyglass on the ground.
In the second room of the shed, pick up a small flute from the table against the wall and examine the clothes lying on the table by the bed.
Then approach the hearth by the window and investigate:
- the bone,
- a small brown ball,
- ashes.
Examine the window and look at the painting on the wall.
Leave the shed, approach the back door to the garden and look at the padlock. Open the casebook and pin the evidence A lock with an unusual keyhole. At the door of the shed you will find a key rack. Go to the door, enable the concentration mode and examine 2 tracks.
Pin the Trail in Captain Stenwick's garden and, in concentration mode, investigate 2 clues in front of the shed.
Finally, go around the shed and examine the rag sticking out of the chimney. When Sherlock picks up the rag, rotate it until you spot the spot you need to investigate.
How to unlock all the garden scenes in imagination mode?
When you have uncovered all the clues in the garden and the shed, return to Captain Stenwick and provide him with the evidence:
- A lock with an unusual keyhole,
- Chewing tobacco remnants,
- Footprints in Captain Stenwick's garden,
- spyglass.
After talking to Stenwick, you will unlock all the scenes in imagination mode.
After unlocking all the scenes, you will be able to reconstruct the course of events in the garden. Enter concentration mode and approach the monument. Choose the scene shown in the screenshot above.
Enter the shed and set the scene with a man dragging the unconscious Kimihia out of the room.
Set up a scene by the window with a man putting a rag up the chimney.
At the tracks in front of the shed, set up a scene with a man and an unconscious Kimihia in a wheelchair.
Set up a scene at the garden door with an unknown man opening the lock.
Hold down the appropriate button and listen to the reconstruction of events.
How to get the key to the door at the back of the garden?
When you manage to correctly recreate Kimihia's kidnapping in imagination mode, return to Captain Stenwick. Use all dialogue options and at the end choose one of the 3 possible answers. Regardless of what you choose, the captain will give you the key to the door at the back of the garden.
Return to the garden and open the back door. Go out into the alley and turn left. Pin the evidence of Abductor's trail to the screen. Enter concentration mode and follow the tracks on the ground until you reach the cart.
At the cart examine:
- the string,
- the wheel,
- a wallet lying on the ground.
When Sherlock picks up the wallet examine its contents, then turn it over and examine the dirty substance on the back.
Mind Palace
Enter the Mind Palace and answer the question What are the notable features of the abductor? take your pick:
- Spyglass,
- Sailor's knot,
- Footprints in Captain Stenwick's garden.
Clues to answer the question Where does Kimihia's trail lead? these are:
- The Strand - September 28, 1882,
- Wallet with salpetre,
- Abductor is a sailor.
After completing the investigation in Stenwick's garden, go out to the main street and approach the carriage. Talk to the coachman to complete Chapter 1 and head to the port.
