On this page of our Dredge guide, we answer the question whether there is an option to choose/switch the difficulty level and whether classic difficulty levels appear (easy, normal, hard). Moreover, we show an easier way of completing mini-games that involve rhythmic pressing of buttons e.g. fishing out fish or treasure.
Problems with fishing mini-game - what to do?
Fishing is the bread and butter of Dredge, but the fishing mini-game itself may cause big problems, as each catching forces you to complete the same interaction involving quick pressing of buttons.
The more valuable the fish or item, the more precise and faster your presses must be (e.g. cause of the smaller interactive area of the mini-game wheel).
Lowering the difficulty level
In Dredge, you won't find traditional difficulty levels - there is only a single standard setting.
When it comes to mini-games, you can get some respite - simply visit the Accesibility menu. The Relaxed Fishing Mode option greatly facilitates mini-games. Thanks to this option, the pace of the mini-games is much slower and there is no risk of completely failing the task.
