Finding evidence in New Orleans
Start by examining the poster. It turns out that it's posted all over town, and informs of a jewel auction taking place in the bank.
Pin the poster to the screen and talk to the first person that appears. The person will explain where to find the bank building.
Approach the bulletin board next to port administration building. Check out:
- flyer with a ship picture,
- A flyer describing a missing man,
- posters about missing persons.
On the bench next to the bulletin board there is a newspaper. Pick it up and read the information on the first page. After collecting all of the above, you can proceed to the bank.
Getting into the bank in New Orleans
The bank is in the western part of the district. As you approach the entrance, you'll be stopped by a guard. Take a look at the following clues:
- face,
- The book in his right hand,
- The right pocket of the jacket.
Complete the character portrait and continue the conversation. While you're at it, read the writing on the boards next to the bank. When Watson appears, talk to him. To enter the auction, you need an invitation - Mr. Barnaby has one.
Finding Frank Barnaby
Pin the Frank Barnaby evidence to the screen and talk to any pedestrian. You will learn that Mr. Barnaby has a shop in Chinatown.
Look for it in a small street in Chinatown. You'll recognize it thanks to the signboard. Start by looking through the window to see if Barnaby is there.
When you hear a conversation between two men, pin the Barnaby evidence again and talk to them. Sherlock learns that Barnaby is a bar in Creole Quarter.
Travel to Giddy Gator bar. The man you're looking for is at one of the tables. You can recognize him easily by his green jacket and yellow cap.
At the table where Barnaby is sitting, examine:
- face,
- A piece of paper sticking out of the jacket.
Now take the jacket and the cap. Return to the bank and talk to the guard.
Searching the bank
Examine the message boards on the left and right sides of the room. Read the list of names hanging on the wall.
After ingesting all this information, talk to the woman at the counter. After conversing, sheriff Grubb will approach you. As you observe the sheriff, note:
- hat,
- sheriff's badge,
- medal,
- right hand,
- vest pocket.
Once the conversation is over, you can leave the bank. Talk to Sherlock Holmes.
Return to the port. You will find Watson's clothes by the boat that you've arrived in. Examine the clothes and wait for the conversation with Lucy to end.
Reach room nr.6 on Nymph of Louisiana. Lucy will tell you that you're to meet with Champagne.
Finding Champagne
Talk to Sherlock - you can find him by the stairs not far from Nymph of Louisiana. Pin Lucy's Help evidence and ask any resident for information.
Travel to Fisherman's Quarter and search for a houseboat. You'll find Champagne at the porch.
Mind Palace
After talking to Champagne, enter the Mind Palace. Choose following clues:
- Banking House of E. W. Gray,
- Plaque With Philanthropists,
- Opal Trader.
Pin the A for Ameson evidence and ask any person for directions. Head to the port and from there use a cab to reach French Quarter.
Pin the Ameson's Mansion evidence to the screen and ask residents for information. You will learn that the house you are looking for has 2 bulls at the gate. Go to the place marked on the above map and talk to the woman at the gate.
