Red Dead Redemption 2 offers a vast area where you can find a lot of activities, side tasks, interesting places and a whole lot of different animals to boot. The area also features many easter eggs. Most of them are small, which makes it easy to miss them while exploring the world.
Most of easter eggs in RDR2 can be found by looking for Points of Interest. Here, however, we will try to list easter eggs that are not part of any Points of Interest available in the game.
Ghosts in RDR2
Go for a night walk along the railroad tracks between Lemoyne and Rhodes. You'll encounter a ghost train.
Near Bluewater Marsh, you will encounter a female specter hovering above the swamp. If you approach her, the protagonist will be able to write her into his notebook.
UFO
Near Heartland Overflow there is a small lake and a small hut above it. There, you will find a few murdered people. One of them died with a note in hand. Take it out and read it. This will tell you when to look for aliens.
To find the aliens, you'll have to return to the place at 2 AM. You need to remember though, that the UFO won't appear during a full moon.
Giant Snake
The snake can be found in Lemoyne area, near Lagras.
The snake is busy chilling on one of the trees. Enter FPP mode to take a closer look, if you wish.
Mysterious well
There is a mysterious, deep well near Eris Field. Inside you will find numerous symbols that look like pulled straight from a horror movie.
Monkey
East of Big Valley there is a monkey. It won't attack you, it won't even move to be honest. Nevertheless, a giant monkey is one of the strangest things you can see west of Pecos.
Meteorite
The meteorite can be found by heading north from Annesburg, near Roanoke Valley.
The meteorite is in a hut, inside you will find a crater and some bodies.
Viking grave
There is a viking grave near Roanoke Valley. The entrance is located downstairs. Inside, you'll find a skeleton and a Viking Hatchet.
