Cyberpunk 2077: How to regain health? Cyberpunk 2077 guide, walkthrough
Last update: Wednesday, November 2, 2022
During the fights in Cyberpunk 2077, V's health will often fall to dangerously low levels. Of course, when health points drop to zero, you die - so you need to know how to heal yourself. On this guide page, you will learn how to restore your health and what perks affect the number of health points.
How to heal?
The main and most effective way to restore health is to use healing items - for example Bounce Back or Max Doc. Depending on the type and level of the item, it will immediately restore a part of your maximum health, and give you a bonus to regenerate the life points. The healing items should be assigned to the quick item slots - this will allow you to restore your health without opening the equipment.
Health also regenerates automatically. By default, this only works outside the fight (when there are no enemies nearby) and up to 60% of the health bar. However, you can improve this ability by buying the right perks - we have described it later on this page.
These healing items are quite easy to get - or at least their basic variations. You will find them in all parts of Cyberpunk 2077 world. You can find them in chests and other containers, searching the bodies of defeated enemies, or at the traders. Examine all the places you visit carefully - in some buildings you will find even a dozen healing items.
It is also possible to craft healing items on your own. To do this, open the Crafting menu and select the icon of the item of interest. Thanks to the right number of crafting materials, you can create healing items at any time. You will get the components by disassembling unused items - this applies to all kinds of junk, as well as weapons and armor.
Perks affecting health
You can influence the number of health points, regeneration rate, and other statistics by buying the perks of the Body attribute from the Athletics category.
- Regeneration - provides automatic regeneration of health even during combat.
- Invicible - increases the maximum number of health points.
- Epimorphosis - increases the percentage of health to which life regenerates automatically.
- Cardio Cure - health regenerates faster if you move.
- Dog of War - increases the speed of health regeneration during combat.
- Wolverine - health regeneration during the fight is activated faster.
It should be added that increasing the Body attribute level also provides additional health points, exactly 5 health points for every level.
