The Swamp is one of the locations you'll visit during the course of Chapter 6 of Sherlock Holmes The Awakened Remake. Our guide will help you reach the island by boat. We show how to avoid alligators, and how to unlock and correctly set all Imagination Mode scenes. At the end of the page, you'll read how to find the key to alcove and how to enter the cave.

Path through The Swamp
Go straight and pass the house on the left. The river doesn't have many forks, but the thick mist may cause you to lose your way and start going in circles.
If you encounter water lillies along the way, it means that you are going in the right direction. If you see white symbols on tree roots, turn back and search for another way.
After sometime, torches will become your beacons. Follow the path laid by torches and search for new ones in the distance.
Swimming past alligators
Once you encounter alligators, turn back and approach the torch. Turn left and get closer to the encountered platform.
The heroes will disembark the boat - follow Watson. When you reach a tree by the torches, talk to your aide. Your task now is to shoot down 3 bodies - aim at the spots marked on the screen.
The alligators will start to devour the bodies, allowing you to get past them safely. Return to the boat and continue your journey until you reach the next jetty.
As you reach the island, go forward and turn right. When on the ground, you'll encounter some traces to find in Concentration Mode. Follow the path until you find the camp.
Unlocking all Imagination Mode scenes on the island
Start by activating Concentration Mode and examining the traces near the campfire. Scan the area and check out 2 bodies and traces near one of the wooden poles.
Go forward a bit and examine more footprints on the ground and wooden poles.
Approach the axe and examine:
- blade,
- rope on the ground.
On the ground examine:
- shirt with initials EA,
- clothes on the right.
At the cage examine:
- food scraps,
- hay on the right.
At the footprints near the stone check out:
- blood,
- footprint,
- scratches on the ground.
Approach the altar and examine the handprints and blood traces in Concentration Mode.
While at the altar, examine:
- dishes on the right,
- knife.
At the stone door, examine the traces on the ground on the right and left side and traces of blood.
Return to the campfire and scan the area. At one of the wooden piles investigate:
- cut rope,
- blood stain.
How to correctly set scenes in Imagination Mode?
Approach the cages and set the scene with Arneston on a wooden pole.
Approach the campfire and set the scene with a person cutting the rope on Arneson's leg.
Approach the altar and set the scene with a person dousing Arneson with blood.
At the stone alcove, set the scene with Arneson and a second individual placing the element into the hole.
Once all scenes are ready, watch the reconstruction of the events.
Finding the key to the cave
Pin the Arneson's Path evidence to the screen and approach the plant found at the cages near the campfire. Move the branches and pick up the bloodied statue.
Place the statue in the stone alcove and enter the cave.
