The following section of our Assassin's Creed Odyssey guide contains a detailed walkthrough of all side quests that can be taken in the Elis region. Each quest description contains information about where to unlock it and how to complete. Also, we have provided information about important choices and quest rewards.

Important information - Quests directly related to the Olympic Games - Kallipateira, Throwing the Bet, The Drachmae of Romance, and Gutter Runner - try to complete those during your visit to Elis in the seventh chapter of the main plot. After you advance in the main storyline, they may disappear from the map and you will not be able to complete them.

Kallipateira

Walkthrough: After hearing the accusations against Kallipateira and offering help, go to the location where athletes rest. Talk to two "nameless" civilians and Kallipateira's son Peisirrhodos. Also, find two documents - one of them (Pindar's Poem for the Champion Diagoras) will confirm the version of the woman's events, and the other (love letter - Anonymous Love Letter) will plunge her.

  1. Complete the contract by killing the young lovers.

Reach the hostile Endymion Camp south of the Olympic village. You must kill the captain of this camp and search his corpse - you'll find Maia's Mother's Necklace. Return the item to the girl. As a reward you will get Olympic Sandals.

The Message, the Stick, and the Artist

Walkthrough: After the meeting, go to Temple of Zeus. You must examine the statue of Zeus. The interactive area is on the chest of the statue - this is shown in the picture. Return to Phidias to find out about the next statues that have to be examined. Additionally, you will get gold.

Art Leading Life

Walkthrough: There are three new statues to check and you can reach them in any order.

The Kytheran Statue is located on the Kythera Island. This is specifically the statue of Artemis, which is one of the viewpoints. The interactive area is on the back of the statue (picture).

Statue of Poseidon is on a small island located north of the island of Samos - as shown in picture 1. Start climbing on it. The interactive area is the trident held by the statue of Poseidon (picture 2).

The Thasian Statue is located on the Thasos Island - AC Odyssey: Elis, Side Quests - Side Quests - Assassins Creed Odyssey Guide

The Thasian Statue is located on the Thasos Island. You need to get to the city of Thasos and find a large statue of the local champion in it. The interactive area is at the back of the statue.

After examining all three statues, return to Phidias. You will find him dead. You will receive some gold for completing this mission.

Journey's End

Starting location: Automatically starts after completing the Art Leading Life quest.

Walkthrough: The new quest is about solving a mystery that Phidias analyzed before his death. Investigate his corpse and you will find Scytale (quest item).

You must set off on the island of Lemnos and reach the Ancient Stronghold. It is the seat of cultists and it is best to get rid of them at first. The purpose of the journey is the building in the upper part of the fort shown in the picture.

Get to a room with six buttons and a closed gate. There is a puzzle to solve here - you have to press the buttons in the right order. A hint about the order in which the symbols are pressed is written on the Scytale plate, which you can check in the inventory.
