Basic cat school gear - important information
Cat School Gear - works best for those players who value the melee attacks instead of using signs - each element along with the swords gives attack bonus which gets higher with every upgrade. In order to obtain schematics for this set, it is best to equip oneself with a map: Adalbert Kermith's First Map. You can buy it from a merchant standing by the fast travel marker Blackbough. The set also consists of a special crossbow.
Required level: 17
Feline Armor
Location: Laboratory under the island in Novigrad
The set can be found under the temple island in Novigrad. To get there, go to this island and go behind the last house by the cliff to the north.
When already there, you should be able to find a path to a hidden cave. You will need The Eye of Nehaleni to go deeper (you can get it by finishing the quest Wandering in the Dark). Having it in your equipment will break the spell of illusion.
There is a golem in the big room - you can choose to deal with him later; whatever your choice is, go left and to the end of the corridor.
There is a little puzzle involved here. You will need to rearrange the statues so that they will be facing the centre. An entrance on the floor will open where on the bottom of the pool you will find laboratory key.
Go back to the main room with the golem. On top of one of the stairs you will find the door to the laboratory which can be opened with the key you have just found. There is an enemy inside, guarding the treasure. Although the enemy is not human, you can fight him as if he was. Watch out for his witcher abilities (such as Quen). Search his corpse to find the schematics.
